1992 Ford Station Wagon Car Won't Go
Transmission problem
1992 Ford Station Wagon 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90,000 miles
When I press on the accelerator, the engine revs up but the car won't go. Nothing happens. It started while I was driving. I had the cruise control on and the car tried to accelerate but it couldn't. What could be wrong? Is it my transmission?

Hi there,
Thank you for the donation,
This is sounding like a transmission failure, check the oil level & condition first, top it up if it is low and re check, also make sure that the transmission is actually selecting gears, otherwise this will be an internal fault which will need the attention of a transmission specialist.
