I lost the last key to my 97 ford ranger. So I drilled through the key hole like I was told but the drill bit broke off inside. So I drilled a bigger hole that the small pin goes through to make it big enough to pull the pin out. I pulled the pin that is supposed to be the only thing that holds into place out. It will giggle but wont move but about a 1/4 inch out what should I do? Please help

Thanks for your help but that not my problem I cant drill any further becuse my drill bit broke off inside cant get past it. I took out the pin. What I need to know is how to pull it out without being able to drill any further. Keep in mind that the pin on bottom is no longer there. ! Is there anything else that could be holding it in! Becuse I getting so mad I thinking of tieing an electric wench to it. It will giggel but wont come out mabe i'm not strong enough?

You might be able to extract the but with a coping saw blade. You gring the back side of the blade to a gradual point.
