I have just started to experience problems with the fan not working. it started to work on and off for a while I then replaced the blower motor, checked the fuse inside the truck and in the power distribution block under the hood. i have a chilton's book for my truck, but it is about usless on the wiring for the blower motor. i am trying to find out how the wiring is to the blower motor, so i can figure out if the wire itself is bad. any help you can give would be helpful. thanks

I know ford uses a blower resistor, which i believe is located in the same area as the blower motor. if the resistor has had it, then the motor will nor work properly. As the resistor actually bumps the power up so that you get the higher speed settings. This resistor may be you cause. You may need to get it from a dealer, but i dont think they are that expencive. good luck and let me know how you get on.
