hi i have an 02 ranger. it has sat for maybe about a month it wont start now. at first the battery was dead so i bought a new one i added fuel stabalizer to the gas and put new gas in it. all it is doin when you turn the key is it cranks once and after that all you can hear is the starter spinning. i replaced the starter thinkin it wasnt engaging i have checked my fuel pump it is workin. also its weird it has a brand new battery and when you turn the key to turn the acessories on they all come on but the battery level gauge reads a little above the L. i dont know what it could be please help i was supposed to trade it yesterday for an f150 with a 429 in it but cant trade it if it isnt running i am at a complete loss and it is drivin me crazy.

try cranking the engine by hand .. with a wrench on crankshaft bolt ???i'm thinking maybe jammed up from being stood ..?? try removing starter and checking teeth on starter and teeth on flywheel ... you will have to spin flywheel all the way around to check all teeth ...let me know ?
