My wipers will only run in normal or fast speed - no intermittent - and won't stop and park when the wiper switch is turned off. I replaced the switch and still have the same problem and must turn off the engine with the wipers in the right position and the wiper switch turned off to get them to park and turn off. I tried moving the relays around (there are three identical ones under the hood) with the same results. The washer function has the same problem - the wipers continue to run unless I turn the engine off.

I replaced the timer (GEM) module and still have the same problem. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm sorry about that, I hope it wasn't too expensive.

I've been staring at the schematic for about 15 minutes now. And nothing else makes sense.

The only other thing I can suggest is take the cover off of the motor to inspect the park switch.

Maybe if the contacts are dirty, or there is some grease that has hardened up and not letting the contacts move easily.
But I've been following the flow of electricity through the circuit, and I haven't figured out how it could happen. Then again, I don't know how your park switch is designed.

Let me know after you play with it.

It did turn out to be the park switch being defective. Between the used GEM module and rebuilt wiper motor the total cost was $125.00 - not too bad considering that the dealer quoted me $300.00 to change out the wiper motor.

Thanks for the help.
