2001 Ford Ranger hard to star when cold

hello on my 2001 for ranger i put in new spark plugs and wires i used the bosch platinum fusion plugs and the bosch plug wires the plugs or pre gaped. my truck is hard to start when it is cold it takes several seconds longer than the normal to start but after the truck has warmed up good it will start up like it is surpose to and run fine i have double checked the wires and plugs to make sure all was tight i thought it may be the coil but i wanted to ask someone before i shell out the 80 dollars for a new one can you please help me with this thanks lester
