Yesterday I was sitting at a light and my engine shut off. The check engine light did come on. I tried to restart the engine but the engine would not turn over, there was no clicking like it was trying, just silence. I did have power because the lights, radio and gages worked. After I got the truck pushed to the side of the road and checking things under the hood I tried the engine again and it turned over. I proceeded with my errand and went home with no further incidents. What could be the problem?

yeah It sounds like you have or had a loose wire somewhere under the hood, try to remember whatever it was that you touched or jiggled when you where checking things under the hood, and you will probably figure out what it was. I think it was the wire going to the starter, if you jiggled it, it probably made enough connection . and started right up
