Put in a new battery this morning, my wife drove it to pick up my son from school. 4 hours later it won't start. Turn the key and all the lights come on, turn the key to start all lights go out and a single click comes from the dash board not the starter. i crawled under and shorted the solenoid while my wife pressed the clutch in and had the ignition on, the starter turns over but the truck still won't start. starter works fine when shorted. what part of the ignition system would cause this?
