Hi

This has been a great little truck, first real problem in 130,000 miles.

It has prob starting and is NOT consistent. Sometimes in morning it starts right up, then coming home from work, takes several tries. Or vice versa, won't start in morning then ok all day, with several stops throughout.

My mechanic said fuel pump, filter, battery, starter all look okay, could not find anything wrong. I put Lucas fuel additive in and for a week, it started and idled strong. It does NOT cut out once it starts, it runs good, just the initial turn over. And it ALWAYS starts, even tho may take several tries. When gas was really high, I did drive it emptier than I ever had, wondering if this could have stirred up something. Just seems like gas won't intially get in engine. Please help!!!
