I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XL 2.5L with 72931 miles. I was driving yesterday with the air on full, max air, when the blower just quit. Being Georgia in July, I usually run the air and have had no previous problems with the vehicle. On a hunch, I checked to see if the heat would work, but it would not. When each system is turned on, I hear the system activate, sort of like a click, which it always had, but no air is being pushed though the vents. I got the truck home and checked the fuses in the panel that control the blower and the A/C, but they are whole. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Eatc or manual system? If manual I would pull the blower 1st and check it with 12 volts, shouldn't be too hard to get at, use a manual, Chilton or other to guide you. Could also be resistor pack, switch I kind of doubt, it most likely would work at another speed level, I had a fan switch go out at high speed only, all other speeds worked.
