Recently I noticed the battery light ( looks like a battery, plus and minus signs etc.) Flickering on and off, then this morning stayed on for some amount of time. I just replaced the battery 8 months ago and have had no problems starting. Just wondering if you might be able to direct me as to what this could indicate.

Hi RawkDawg. First have your battery checked to see if maybe it has a dead cell. You can bring the battery to Wal Mart to have it checked if you wish. If your battery is ok you or someone else use a volt meter and check the battery volt status when engine is off and when engine is running. When the engine is off the volts should hold from 12-12.5. When the engine is running the volts should be around 13.8 to 14.8. If the volts are less than 13. Say 11.5 or 8.4 for example, then your alternator is not charging it will need to be replaced. Start here and see where you get. I hope I have helped you out.
