I have a 98 Ford Ranger 5 speed 2.5 liter engine - my problem occurs when I pull up to a stop light and push the clutch in it almost stalls out. Normal idle has been around 700 rpms but it drops to around 200 rpms and bobbles and then stalls out if I don't give it gas. The check engine light is on and I took it to AutoZone where they said "EGR flow insufficient" I replaced the EGR valve and it still tries to stall out on me. Within the past 7000 miles I have replaced the spark plugs and wires, along with the fuel filter and I know the clutch isn't going bad.
