1997 ranger the transmission was slipping and was low on fluid a few weeks ago, added fluid and everything was fine for about a month and now the trans slipped again when pulling a hill and even came to where it wouldnt pull it at all. the fluid level is fine after letting the truck sit for about a minute the truck went in gear and was fine for awhile and them did the same exact thing. can you tell me what the problem may be?

HI there,

this can be an oil pressure servo problem of a faulty clutch pack, i would get to a transmission specialist to get a test and report, if you keep driving while it is slipping you will be do more damage to the transmission.
