1997 Ford Ranger Installing new starter

Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am trying to install a new starter but was not the person who removed the old one. I am wondering which post do the main battery cable and solenoid wire get hooked up to. There are 2 posts one on top of each other and one to the bottom left.
