Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

ok so I have a 97 ford ranger that I just replaced the iac valve twice, the tps 3 times, the maf sensor, all the gaskets on the intake system, and a new exhaust system. Now for the problem-at startup it revs really high for about 10 sec then idles down and then does a light up and down idle, when u accelerate it lacks power sooo much. Take about 10 min to get to 45 mph then wont go any faster than that. When ur in 4th gear and push down the pedal it bogs down. Can anyone help me. Ive been trying to fix this damn truck for 3 months now.

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, jerking, bogging, misfiring etc. Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it
