I have been chasing error codes pointing to various fixes within the emmissions system, eg: EGR, O2 sensor, etc. So as I am preparing to fix these issues, I have my next problem... I started the truck and let it warm up for about 5 min. The truck idles a little rough but otherwise ok. I put the truck into gear and begin to drive, but as I go to shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear, the RPM increases to 6000RPM, while I have the clutch pedal depressed. I let the pedal off and make the upshift to 2nd, and the truck seems like it is accelerating without me pressing the gas pedal. The only way I can get the RPM to decrease is putting the truck into gear and "lugging" the engine. Is this the result of a stuck throttle cable or something on that end, or can it be a culmination of the emmision problems that I have been facing?
