1995 Ford Ranger FUEL PUMP

My 1995 Ford Ranger will go but has no power.I dont have a fuel pressure guage but i have in mind that the fuel pump is not working properly.The truck will go but has no power, you can also hear a labor knock like the plugs are firing wrong (spark knock).would the relay be a thing look at.if you feel that i am in the wrong direction please tell me. i have set my timing already.please help.

As far as the fuel pump, it could be weak. Most parts stores will lend or rent you a gauge if you decide to check it. As far as the spark knock, I would start by checking the knock sensor. Also, make sure there are no vacuum leaks and the catylatic converter isn't plugged. Has the check engine light ever come on?
