1995 Ford Ranger Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Manual 148000 miles

So all of a sudden my truck gets much louder and I look underneath my truck and notice towards the middle that where my two exhaust pipes come together, the ring-type clamp that holds the 2 together rusted through and broke. So basically my truck is much louder. Is it bad to drive while like this? Or not a big deal? Any "quick-fix" ideas ideas I could try for the time being before I take it in to get fixed? I was thinking bungee cords? Any ideas?

The main risk is you may loose engine backpressure or you may break local ordaninces from the noise.

Dont bunjee cord it or it will melt from the extremem heat, weld it or buy a new clamp.
