Electrical problem
1994 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
at first it wouldn't start at times, and when I would get it started it idled at high rpms. I put a code tester on it and while the tester was plugged up, it ran good. We changed computer , coil , distributer cap and rotary button. It still didn't run good , unless the code tester was plugged up or the negative wires on test outlet was bridged. It ran like that for about 3 weeks and now it won't start at all. It seems to not be getting any fire from output of coil. Checked input of coil and it gets 12 volts when key switch is on.
