On Hot days my truck will not harly start and once you get it started if you go a short distance and turn it off it will take awhile for it to start back but if you go a long distance it will start about everytime . So what could the problem be

Sounds as a weak battery
I would check and test the battery

Well the battery is fully charged I already checked that It has me puzzled when I get it to start it will run like a new truck but the short distance trips is when it will not restart

I still thing battery need to be rechecked and also the charging system
check battery terminals too
does it start better with a jump ?
