With the engine running, radiator coolant leaks out heavily around the water pump. No leaking is observed with the engine is off. It does not appear to be leaking from any hoses, but possibly from around the gasket. If it seems to continuously spit water when running, would this mean that the water pump is functioning and it is likely just the gasket that needs replacing?

I am interested in how to access, remove, and possibly replace the gasket or water pump on a 1994 Ford Ranger.
