hi my 90 ranger is hard to start when its cold out.and it cranks over longer than it should when its warm out to. it has a new fuel pump and cold start sensors and fuel filter.all the sensors have been replaced.if you turn the key on and of 4 or 5 times it stars pretty good. it has a new fuel pressure regulator on it to. the fuel pressure is good and the regulator checked good.what else could it be? it dont use no oil.and it runs good after it starts. it has a new ignition switch. thanks ed

.if you turn the key on and of 4 or 5 times it stars pretty good.

If you have to do this for it to start test the ignition switch.

check fuel pressure valve,2 to five minutes after turning off motor . if no fuel pressure ,then it is leaking down.and you have to turn key on and off to build up the pressure to start motor,i have the same problem ,but been unable to find why it si leaking down.
