1987 Ford Ranger won't start

1987 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I got into my truck and it won't start, I had the starter tested, it was good, alternator tested, good, replaced the solenoid, and had the battery checked. And still won't start, battery cables get hot. What else should I check

Is it cranking over and w/n start or just won't crank at all/nothing

Won't crank at all. Won't start at all, battery is full 12 v

Load test the battery if it won't hold up 9.6volts in 10secs replace it. If okay could be the starter, starter relay, clutch switch and ignition switch
