AFTER DRIVING FOR ABOUT 5 MINS, TRUCK STARTS LIKE SPITTING, MISSING, SMOKING, WHEN GIVING MORE GAS IT CLEARS FOR A FEW SECONDS THAN STARTS AGAIN. WAS DOING THIS ONLY A FEW TIMES A MONTH, WORSE WHEN WEATHER WAS HOTTER, NOW DOING EVERYDAY

Gray black, when giving lot of gas all clears up for a few seconds, than starts missing, trying to shut off and smoking

Start by taking a look at the spark plugs. We want to know if they are getting gas fouled, oil fouled. We also want to know whether all cylinders or one or two have the problem.
