91 ford probe need help

i have a probe that i just got ran fine now 3 days later it doesnt want to start or stay started engine light comes on got code 538 when check eng light on car idles fine when check eng light goes out it idles to 2 seems to want to start cold now when it starts wont stay running when i put it in gear please help thanks

code 538 is eca failure , try this turn key to run and depress gas pedal all of the way for about 20 seconds and retest is code 538 or 77 shows back up replace eca (the computer ) it is located behind the instrument panel forward of the center console near the floor
