I just bought a new fuel pump and installed it. when i tried starting my car it still would not start. I checked to see if the pump was working and it wasnt. i checked the relay switch and that is not the problem. I have also hooked the pump to a straight 12 volt hook up and still nothing. I have no idea what it could be. Thank you for any advice u can give me.

When you say you hooked it to 12 volts, do you mean at the pump ot through the cars wiring from the relay? in the luggage compartment behind the left rear interior panel is an inertia cut off switch, be sure it hasnt been tripped by pushing the button on top.
