Holy moly, mother of belly blue jesus that much! you must be talking 4 quarts plus you're still little bit over-better drain it out.

Do you hear the fuel pump come on for a few secs when you 1st turn key On?

If not find the fuel cut off inertia switch behind left rear interior trim panel try resetting it.

When the fuel pump decides to quit it does not alert you when. It'll will take you by surprise-like in your case.

Find the fuel pump conector-On the key -look for power-no-power recheck the inertia switch and fuel pump relay/fuse.
