Please can you tell me what damage I would do by leaving the hand break on or half on whilst driving sometimes? I seem to keep forgetting to make sure it not fully down whilst driving!

Depending on what type of hand brake is on you car, you will destroy the rear brakes due to gross over heating, destroy wheel bearings, hubs or brake drums, you could have a total brake failure, basically anything concerned with the rear wheels can and will be affected, you should have a hand brake warning light on the dash, if it is not working get it repaired ASAP.
