1991 Other Ford Models not sure

Car ran great stopped at a house for about an hour went to start car but wouldnt checked for fire and fuel but no fuel. Fuel pump removed and checked it worked jumped fuel pump with hot wire car started. Hooked everything the way it went now car is lacking power replaced distributer cap and roter still sounds like it is missing and lacks power not sure where to go from here. Checked all wires and vacums no problems there

Check your fuel pressure and change the filter. I think there is sometype of fuel regulator in the trunk on these cars that screws up. Also scan the engine for codes as you may have a sensor going bad.
