Too much oil
I have a 65 mustang with a 289 v-8, and I believe that I may have put too much oil in it. So, my question has a few parts.
First, what will happen if there is too much oil in the car?
Second, how will I know if there is too much in the car?
Finally, how do I fix it? Would draining the oil and putting in new oil be sufficient?

#1 To much oil your car will not run right.
#2 check your oil dip stick to see if it's over the fill line.
#3 drain some oil to get it back to your fill line. don't drain all the oil just enough to get it back down to the full line.
