Hello, and thank you in advance for any help you can offer. I made the mistake of cleaning my engine bay Saturday with an air wand spraying a mixture of Simple Green and water. Although I was careful to stay away from the alternator and electronics, the car will not start. I disconnected the battery to let the computer reset. After I hook up the battery, there is power for the headlights, interior lights, horn, hazards, door locks. Once I press the clutch and try to start the car, I lose all power. No clicking, pumping or other noises. In addition, the previously mentioned accessories will not come back on unless I disconnect the battery and let sit for several hours. The battery checked out good. All fuses under the dash and in the engine bay are good. Battery terminals are clean from all corrosion. No water in the first COP I pulled. Relay in the trunk was not tripped. Grounds to the body are intact. I'm wondering if it's a relay or the computer. Given these symptoms, will jump starting by popping the clutch work? Thanks again.
