Misfiring and fowled plugs

Hello I have an 1988 mustang GT 5.0. It runs great BUT I am having trouble getting it to idle. It idles high then low then high and then tries to die. You can also hear it misfiring and the plugs get fowled up after a while Any thoughts on what could be wrong. Would an EGR or O2 sensor do this?

Last major tune-up? Could be the idle speed control/throttle body coked-up/throttle position and MAP/BARO sensor.

Or fuel pressure problem
