Hello I have an 1988 mustang GT 5.0.... It runs great BUT I am having trouble getting it to idle. It idles high then low then high and then tries to die . You can also hear it misfiring and the plugs get fowled up after a while Any thoughts on what could be wrong. Would an EGR or O2 sensor do this?

Last major tune-up? could be the idle speed control/throttle body coked-up/throttle position and MAP/BARO sensor.

Or fuel pressure problem
