Car won't start after sitting idle for 4 months

New battery was istalled yesterday in my 2000 Ford Mustang after is had been sitting idle for 4 months. There is a clicking sound when turning the key but the engine won't start.

Check from the wipers back as far as you are able to. The problem I would guess is a nut that has loosend and fallen off.

Thanks for the reply! I just received my hayne's manual and I will definitely be taking a look at the inside of the windshield wiper motor house.

sounds like its the starter an old trick is to hit the starter lightly with a hammer and then try and start it. this may only be a temporary fix. also if u park a car for that long u should always start and run it once or twice a month
