1969 Ford Mustang Repair Question

69 mustang brake shoes.
I'm new to working on cars, and i'm trying to repair my brakes. i'm using chilton's to assemble them, i however do not know which one is the primary shoe and which is secondary. i would really appreciate someone letting me know. thanks.

If they are the same color the one with the least amont of marerial goes to the back. If they are different color, the black shoe goes to the back. Good luck

now i can continue working on my car :D
