Does it make the noise when the clutch is depressed? If when u pushe th clutch it goes away it is most likley a bad throwout bearing. If it is there all the time it may be an exaust shield or a cat convertor.

From what your explaing it sounds like it may be in your exaust. Is your car all stock or do you any aftermarket modifications?

It sounds like you have a cat starting to come apart but I cant be sure because I dont have much to go on. Your best bet isto take it to an exaust shop. Most exaust shop wont charge you anything to put it up on a lift and check your cats. Sorry I cant be of more help but some noises are hard to diag over the comp.
