Recently when I arrived home I turned off my key and the radio/cd player stayed on I jiggled the key, turned it off and on but the power stayed on. I couldn't tell if anything else stayed on but a couple of days later I went to use the car and it's dead. Any thoughts?

Is the key hard to get out and is the radio the only thing left on, what im thinking is the ignition switch but testing needs to be done because thre may be an open in a wire causing this. There is no relay and fuses really dont come into play since the unit is powered all of the time, for the meantime you could pull the fuse when parking for some time but it needs to be checked before you damage the battery and or other components are being affected
