Hi,

My girilfriend was pumping gas into my car today, and someone noticed gas leaking over by the gas tank where the fuel pump is. I just had a new fuel pump put in the car about 2 months ago. What should I do?
Can I drive the car? Will it start a fire or possibly explode if I do?

THANKS,

Mustang Man

I cant condone driving a car with a fuel leak, it is always dangerous. What has probably happened is the seal where the filler goes into the tank was damaged when they removed it to replace the fuel pump.
