Shakes or Wobbles problem
2001 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My 2001 Mustang has had an off and on ruff idle from time to time, Yesterday when I started it the idle was real high and as I put in gear it sounded like it was gonna die, I drove a few miles and it was okay, then it started to shake and idle was real low, I stepped on the gas and it helped for a second, but when I let off it sputtered and died out and now it wont start. I tried a new coil pack but that wasn't the problem. When I start it the starter sounds normal but engine won't fire. I changed the plugs about a month ago to pre gapped bosch and it was running fine. I do know the left exaust manifold is warped and leeks air flow I ordered that part already but I don't think that's the problem can any one help me?

Do below to determine if its fuel or spark problem

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Do I take spark plug wire off and place it 3/16 away from spark plug or anywhere on engine block?
