Electrical problem
2000 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The battery on my car keeps dying. I have replaced the Battery and have checked the alternator and made sure it is in working order. How do I find what keeps draining the battery?

I have follwoed all the tips in the article. I have checked all interior bulbs for illumination. I used a test light connected between the negative termial and the neg. Battery post, had a very bright light, pulled every fuse under the hood and under the dash and the light never went off. Any other suggestions?

Is there an unhood light, if so remove it, Also make sure if you have any added electronics you disconnect them and anything plugged into the Power Jack/Cig Lighter and recheck.

If still have draw try disconnecting power wire from Alternator.

If still have draw disconnect power wire on starter.
