1998 Ford Mustang
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, My questions is this: My son has a '98 mustang that has not been used for a while, but it had a brand new battery (used only once to move the car 20 feet or so) in preparation for use next week. My Chevy Suburban needed a battery so we borrowed the one from the mustang. Now my brother is telling us that when we get a new battery we need to just buy one for the mustang because if we switch from one Make to another it will kill the battery. I don't have a problem buying a battery for the mustand instead of the Suburban I just wondered if it was true. He said it wouldn't matter if it was to another Ford just not to another Make.

Go get a battery it doesn't matter whether its Interstate/Oxide/Die Hard or whatever as long as its a 12volt battery and can be mounted properly in the engine compartment battery tray and will not interfere with the hood-
