Hello,
My mustang seem to have a problem idling, when you start it up and rive it, its o.k. but as soon as you let go of the throttle, then it dies out....why? some friends told me that it could be the "idler sensor" and/or the throttle cable broken? pls. help as you can see that I need an answer from the "pros" and not from "back yard Joe" so that I won't spend so much money.

Need Help,
Aliki

You can donate some of it here if you wish so we can help people like you in need.

When was the last major tuned-up?

Here we go

Do you have a check engine light or has flashed and disappeared?

You can start by having the idle air control valve and throttle position sensor check-to include the EGR-mentioned components can affect the idle.
