My daughters mustang starts and runs great for about 15 minutes, then at 1000 rpm or lower the oil pressure drops to 0 and the car stalls out. It takes a while to get it started back up, but when it starts, if you keep it above 1500 rpm, it has very good oil pressure. The motor was just rebuilt, and only has about 20k on it. Does the car automatically shut down if the oil pressure drops? Or do i have another problem?

the fuel relay should be wired trhough the oil pressure switch, when pressure drops shuts it off that way it doesnt ruin the engine.

i would be checking to see if the oil pressure sending unit is functioning properly. may need a new pump or differnt oil
