Electrical problem
1995 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My 1995 Mustang ran fine, I parked it came out moments later and tried to start it and it just clicked. All light and gauges work with power but not enough to start it. I jump packed it and it would not start until I moved the ground to the alternator bracket then it started. I changed batteries and the same problem persists. Do I have a weak ground somewhere or what?

Do a voltage drop test on the cables if okay check and test the starter relay and starter itself

I fixed it, how simple the bolts where the cable attaches to the cable end came loose. It provided enough power to run the lights but not turn it over. Gave each bolt a couple a turns and it started right up. Thank God
