I have a 1990 mustang gt it was running great. The next time I went out to drive it, the car was dead. Ok first thought left something on drained battery. The car did nothing when jumped. I had it towed to my mechanic he has check battery, alternator, computer, relays etc. Nothing. But when put back together the car started and ran for 1 week. Once again dead. He can not find anything. This is a very good mechanic, he is the mechanic for a very large shipping comapny and also builds race cars. He is stumped and this time he has had the car for 3 months. The gt is still dead.
do you guys have any ideas what he could check or look for? Have you had any other mustang gt owners write about this problem?

I have a 1990 GT and have close to the same problem. Only I have a power drain. When I leave my car sitting for a day or so it wont start cause the battery is dead. I replaced the alternator and battery. But I have know power. Also when I have my lights on it drains my battery
