1990 Mustang 5.0 V-8 with an automatic AOD transmission keeps cracking the flexplate around the bolts that hold it against the cranshaft. It cracks it in a circular pattern. The transmssion has already been replaced and it still keeps cracking the flrexplate. It has cracked it six times already. The flexplate will crack after driving 2,000 miles or less. The car is driven gently and never raced so it should not crack it, but it does.
