Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive 190000 miles

she runs great at start up, but after she warms up, she lopes and dies. once she's warm, oil pressure drops to nothing unless I run her at 2 grand or more, motor was from a 95' and there are plugs & wires that go nowhere, I just want a smooth runner.

Do you hear any type of knocking noises in the engine if so do below if not check the fuel pressure and the idle speed controller

Check the oil pressure to rule out the oil pump and engine bearings that maybe causing the low oil pressure. Could be just the pressure switch acting up and needs replacement.
