My 1983 mustang runs rough and is hard to keep running some of the time. If I start it up in the coolness of the morning it doesn't like to run well. I have no problems come mid morning. I don't know if the choke is stuck sometimes? It just acts like it's running out of fuel. I replaced the fuel filter. I am opened to any suggestions

sounds like the choke. if the choke was sticking you would be getting bad gas mileage and poor performance with a warm engine not cold and it would be getting too much gas not too little.

would check to make sure the choke is operating. check the heated air intake hose and other parts of the carburator for carbon, clean up the linkage and see.
