I just started working on my car after sitting in the garage for a year. I noticed that the oil pressure is always high. Do I need to replace the pump? Help

Sir-What you need to do is check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge-if its normal replace the oil presssure sending unit abnormal could be the oil pump pressure relief valve not opening. Might consider and oil/filter change-could be sludge
