I have a 1964 1/2 ford mustang. I want to do a tune up. Please let me know what to set the points at, degreees timing, firing order and spark plug gap. Thank you for your time.

Thats an oldie. Points are.16, plugs.35 Timing I set with someone in the car, tranny in drive, with pedal held for high idle of about 2000rpm, advance till it pings, then back off a bit. Book was 8-10 BTDC I think! Firing order was stamped on the intake in front of the carb, If memory serves me.
