Try this, record all codes that come up and post please. Sometimes just running this test will recalibrate the gauges and solve the problem.
Instrument Cluster Self-Test To enter the Instrument Cluster Self-Test Mode on the base instrument cluster, press and hold the instrument cluster trip odometer/reset button and turn the ignition switch to the RUN position until tESt appears in the integrated display. On message center clusters, press and hold the message center RESET button and turn the ignition switch to the RUN position until CLUSTER ENGINEER TEST appears in the message center. Press the trip odometer/reset or RESET button to advance through the displays. To exit the self -test mode, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. If no DTCs related to the concern are retrieved, GO to SYMPTOM CHART.

Pinpoint Test E: The Speedometer/Odometer Is Inoperative Normal Operation The powertrain control module (PCM) provides the vehicle speed to the instrument cluster over the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network. The instrument cluster uses the vehicle speed rolling count status from the PCM to calculate and display the current odometer reading. If the instrument cluster does not receive odometer rolling count status for 2 seconds, dashes are displayed in the odometer display and the anti -lock brake system (ABS) warning lamp illuminates. Possible Causes à   PCM à   instrument cluster.
To determine which is bad the use of the Ford Star tester is required. Can also be a poor connection.B9 CHECK FOR CORRECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OPERATION à   Disconnect the instrument cluster connector. à   Check for: à   corrosion à   pushed-out pins à   Connect the instrument cluster connector and make sure it seats correctly. à   Operate the system and verify the concern is still present. à   Is the concern still present? à † Yes : INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. TEST the system for normal operation. à † No : The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self -test.
